Refresh Pilot Docs

What is Refresh Pilot?

Refresh Pilot is a Chrome extension that reloads any web page for you, over and over, so you don't have to keep pressing F5 — and it can watch the page while it refreshes and alert you the moment something you care about appears, disappears, or changes.

The page reloads by itself every few seconds — the little bubble shows the countdown.

What can it do for you?

People use Refresh Pilot when a website only shows new information after a reload. For example:

  • Shopping — a product is sold out. Refresh Pilot reloads the page and tells you the second "in stock" appears.
  • Appointments & tickets — embassy slots, doctor bookings, concert tickets: get an alert when a date frees up.
  • Auctions & prices — watch a price and get notified when it changes or drops.
  • Dashboards & queues — keep a work dashboard fresh on a wall monitor, or watch your place in an online queue.
  • News & forums — reload a thread or live blog so you always see the latest posts.

The three pieces

Everything you'll read in these docs fits into three simple pieces:

🧩 The popup
start & control refreshing
👁️ The monitor
watch the page, alert you
🌐 The dashboard
all settings, in your browser
  1. The popup — click the Refresh Pilot icon in your toolbar. Four small tabs (Interval, Timer, Tabs, Monitor) control everything on the current page. Take the tour →
  2. The monitor — tell Refresh Pilot what to look for ("in stock", a price, any change) and what to do when it happens: notification, sound, webhook, email, even auto-click. Learn monitoring →
  3. The web dashboard — a full-screen settings site that opens with one click and stays in sync with the extension automatically. See the dashboard →

Free and PRO

Everyday auto-refreshing is FREE forever — fixed intervals, the countdown overlay, one watched keyword with desktop notifications, and more. Power features (random intervals, multiple keywords, webhooks, schedules, scripts…) are PRO — one $2.99/year subscription unlocks everything. The full comparison lives on the Free vs PRO page.
