How upgrading works
- Click ⭐ Upgrade Plan in the dashboard sidebar (or the Upgrade button on any PRO lock — in the popup, side panel, or dashboard). A secure Stripe checkout opens — $2.99/year.
- Pay with your email. You don't need an account first — you can check out straight away as a guest.
- PRO lives on an account. If you didn't already have one, checkout creates it from the email you paid with and sends a "payment successful — your account is ready" welcome email containing a temporary password (Stripe's card receipt arrives separately). If you already had an account, you simply get a billing confirmation email.
- Open the dashboard and sign in with that email and password. The key step: the Refresh Pilot extension in that same browser links itself to your account automatically and every PRO lock disappears — in the popup, side panel, and dashboard. There's no license code to copy or paste.
Once you're PRO, the dashboard's Upgrade Plan page shows "Manage billing" instead — a Stripe customer portal where you can update your card or cancel. On a new computer and PRO isn't showing yet? See Restoring your purchase.
What happens at the free limits
Free limits are enforced silently, when a job starts — never with an error. If your saved setup uses PRO options while you're on Free, Refresh Pilot simply runs the free version of it: the interval falls back to fixed, the monitor keeps one plain keyword in "found" mode, sounds play once, and PRO-only actions (webhooks, email, auto-click…) just don't fire.
