Start any timer
Preset, custom or random — it doesn't matter. The countdown appears on the toolbar icon automatically.
RefreshPilot · Feature
How do you know RefreshPilot is really working? You see it. A tiny countdown sits on the toolbar icon, ticking down to the next reload — 15, 14, 13… — so one glance answers "is it running?"

It ticks down in real time: 15, 14, 13… When it hits zero, the page reloads and the countdown starts over.
Turn on the Visual On-Page Timer too — the same countdown, but floating right on the page, big enough to read from the couch.
01 — What it does
A machine you can't see is a machine you don't trust. The countdown makes RefreshPilot visible: the number on the icon always shows how many seconds until the next reload. Counting means it's alive. The number means you know exactly how fresh the page is — is what I'm seeing 3 seconds old, or 40?
That freshness question really matters sometimes. Imagine watching an auction: if the countdown says the page reloaded 2 seconds ago, you can trust the price you see. If your watch ever gets stopped by accident, the badge stops counting — and you notice immediately, instead of finding out an hour later that nothing was being watched.

Seconds until the next reload of the tab you're looking at. Counting down = running. When it reaches zero, the page refreshes and the number jumps back up to start again.
Yes — every tab runs its own timer in the background. The badge shows the tab you're currently on, and the tabs dashboard lists all of them at once.
Same countdown, different place. The badge lives on the toolbar icon — small and always there. The visual timer floats on the page itself — big and readable from far away. You can use both together.
