Does it work on Facebook Marketplace?
Yes — it refreshes the search in your logged-in session, exactly as if you scrolled back to it. Marketplace's own alerts are famously sparse and late; a watched search fills that gap.
Can I filter out dealers and spam?
Keywords work both ways: require "private seller" or your trim, or alert only when "dealer" is absent. Together with the site's own filters, most noise disappears.
Won't I get pinged constantly on a busy search?
If it pings too often, the search is too broad. Tighten the price, distance or year until an alert means "go look now". That's what makes a watcher useful.
Can I watch multiple sites for the same car?
Yes — one tab each on Marketplace, AutoTrader, Craigslist and a local forum, all with the same keywords. Whoever posts it first, you hear about it first.
