Job boards don't change every second. Every 3 to 5 minutes is plenty — fast enough to be early, gentle on the website.
Add job-title keywords
"Remote", "Designer", "Manager", your city. No alert until one of those words actually appears on the page.
Choose where the alert goes
Notification during the day, email for pages you watch overnight. Either way, you apply in the first hour — not the third day.

Can it watch a careers page that has no job alerts of its own?
