Some things you wait minutes for. Others take days or weeks: a visa status, exam results, a price that might drop next Tuesday. You can't sit at the computer that whole time — but your computer can. Email alerts are the bridge: the watch runs at home, and when it matches, an email lands in your pocket. It says what matched and links back to the page, so you can act from anywhere.

How fast does the email arrive?
It's sent the instant the match happens, and email delivery adds moments. For same-second speed at the computer, use push notifications too — email's superpower is reaching you ANYWHERE, not raw speed.
Will my inbox get flooded?
Only if your watch is too loose. A well-aimed watch — a zone plus the deciding words — matches when the real thing happens, which might be once a month for a status page. You can also use auto-stop to end the watch after the first hit.
Does my computer have to stay on?
Yes — the watch runs in your browser, so the computer must be awake to do the checking. The classic setup: desktop stays on at home doing the watching, while the alerts reach your phone out in the world.
