Shortcuts put the important actions right on your keys: start or stop the watch on this tab, refresh right now, open the panel. Your hands never leave the keyboard, and the action happens the instant you think it.
Shortcuts really shine when you're running many tabs. Pausing six watches before a meeting — or re-arming them after — becomes tap, tap, tap instead of a clicking safari through six popups. You can change every key combo in your browser's shortcut settings, so the actions sit on keys your fingers already know.

Which actions have shortcuts?
The ones you do most: start/stop the current tab's watch, refresh immediately, and open the panel. The idea: the moments where speed matters should never need the mouse.
Can I change the key combos?
Yes — browsers have a settings page just for extension shortcuts (in Chrome: chrome://extensions/shortcuts). Put RefreshPilot's actions on any keys that don't clash with your other tools.
Do shortcuts work with the panel closed?
That's the whole point — they act on the current tab directly, from anywhere in the browser. No panel needed.
