Cada versión, documentada

RefreshPilot se mantiene activamente. Cada entrada de abajo lista lo que se añadió, mejoró y corrigió — para que sepas si una actualización afecta a los monitores que ya tienes en marcha.

2.3.0

RefreshPilot now speaks 12 languages — extension, dashboard, and store listing.

Añadido
  • The entire extension — popup, options, desktop notifications, context menus, and the on-page countdown — is now available in Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese, Korean, Russian, Japanese, Indonesian, and Turkish, alongside English.
  • The web dashboard is fully translated into the same 12 languages, including right-to-left layout for Arabic.
  • Language follows your browser automatically, and a new Language picker in Options and in the dashboard's Settings lets you override it at any time.
Mejorado
  • The Chrome Web Store listing is localized too, so the extension appears in store searches in your own language.

2.2.0

A deep reliability pass: 26 fixes across the refresh engine, page monitor, and side panel.

Corregido
  • Refresh jobs no longer stall silently. A background watchdog revives tabs that Chrome’s Memory Saver put to sleep, performs reloads a throttled tab missed, and recovers jobs whose tab crashed.
  • Pressing Back to a page with a running job no longer triggers a surprise instant refresh — and a job stopped in the meantime can’t leave a ghost countdown pill behind.
  • Pausing a job now truly pauses its monitoring — and a keyword that vanished or a page change that happened while paused is still reported when you resume. Previously those events could be lost for good.
  • A monitor scoped to a page area no longer scans the whole page while that area is briefly missing (single-page apps) — the cause of false keyword hits and endless “page changed” alerts.
  • Realtime monitoring keeps working after modern web apps re-render the watched element; it used to go quiet until the next full reload.
  • Keywords rendered inside web components (open shadow DOM) are now seen by the monitor.
  • css: and xp: rules no longer fire on invisible elements — a hidden “out of stock” template node can’t trigger a false alert anymore.
  • “Restart timer on interaction” waited roughly twice the configured time before refreshing; the countdown now behaves exactly as configured.
  • The side panel now follows the tab you’re on — Start/Stop, the footer status and the element picker no longer act on whichever tab was active when the panel first opened — and it no longer closes itself when you use “show tab”, the picker, or the Dashboard button.
  • Dragging the countdown pill to a custom spot now sticks; it used to snap back to its corner on the very next refresh.
  • Scheduled countdown starts can no longer fire on the wrong tab after a browser restart.
  • Greek keywords ending in sigma and keywords spanning typographic spaces (common on Japanese pages) now match correctly.
Mejorado
  • Tabs with a running job are pinned against Chrome’s Memory Saver for the life of the job.
  • Weekly schedules stay aligned to wall-clock time across daylight-saving changes.
  • Removed a leftover background task that woke the extension every minute for nothing — a small but permanent battery cost on every install.
  • Webhook deliveries no longer follow HTTP redirects, closing a request-forgery vector.
  • The extension now declares Chrome 120 as its minimum (Chrome 116–119 never actually loaded it).
  • 297 automated regression tests now drive the real extension code before every release.

2.1.2

Smoother timers, reliable notices, and cloud sync that stops crying wolf.

Corregido
  • The custom interval now understands units — type “2m”, “1h” or “1m30s” instead of counting seconds.
  • The big interval counter no longer gets cut off when the number has 3+ digits.
  • The “refresh limit reached” desktop notice now fires reliably when Stop-after kicks in.
  • Pressing Start with monitoring on but no keyword set now simply starts refreshing the current tab, instead of jumping you to the Monitor tab.
  • Cloud sync no longer shows false “sync conflict” messages on routine PRO edits — and edits made from two browsers now merge automatically, with a 30-second poll picking up changes from your other devices.
  • Notification Settings: sound preview buttons now actually play, and the webhook and email fields grey out while their toggle is off.

2.1.1

A clearer name on the Chrome Web Store.

Mejorado
  • The store listing now leads with what the extension does: “Auto Refresh & Page Monitor — Refresh Pilot”.

2.1.0

The web dashboard arrives — manage everything at dashboard.refreshpilot.com.

Añadido
  • Web dashboard that syncs live with the extension. Free users get guest mode — no account needed, nothing stored in the cloud — and it opens automatically on first install.
  • Real PRO accounts with email and password. Buying PRO ($2.99/year) creates your account from your payment email.
  • Automatic account linking — sign in on the dashboard and the extension in that browser unlocks PRO by itself. No codes to copy.
  • A redesigned dashboard with card-based settings, a Notification Settings page (sound previews, volume, alert actions) and a Hotkeys page.
Mejorado
  • Multi-device is now equal devices sharing one cloud copy of your settings — no more primary and secondary roles.
  • The popup remembers your edits even if you close it without pressing Start, and the default interval stays in step with the dashboard both ways.
Corregido
  • “Stop after N refreshes” now performs exactly N reloads — a limit of 1 used to do zero.
  • Page Monitor no longer re-fires an already-reported match after a pause and resume.
  • First-install no longer dead-ends with “Extension did not respond” — the dashboard falls back to guest mode and reconnects on its own.
  • Security hardening throughout: the dashboard–extension bridge now accepts only sanitized settings, the webhook guard blocks more private-network addresses, and several server-side holes around email and checkout were closed.

2.0.0
