RefreshPilot · Use case

Auto refresh for support ticket queues

Fast reply times are won in the minutes after a ticket arrives — not at the top of the hour when someone remembers to check. RefreshPilot watches the queue and only interrupts you when something actually lands.

Suporte e Filas de Tickets

A starting configuration

Interval

Every 1–2 minutes

Monitor

Keywords: "Urgent", "P1", VIP names

Alert

Notification + webhook to Slack

Every website is a little different — start with this and adjust until it feels right.

How to set it up

1

Open your filtered queue

Your team, unassigned, open — the narrower the view, the more every change means something.

2

Refresh every minute or two

Fast enough that no deadline clock turns red before you hear about it. Calm enough to run all shift.

3

Filter for the fires

Keywords like "Urgent", "P1", or a VIP customer's name. You get pinged for tickets that matter — not every little update.

4

Alert the person — or the whole channel

Notifications for whoever's on duty, plus a webhook that posts into Slack so the whole team sees it.

01 — The problem

Watching the queue is a job on top of the job

Helpdesk dashboards refresh slowly, and their notification settings are usually all-or-nothing. So agents flip to the queue between every task — dozens of looks an hour at an unchanged list — while the one urgent ticket that matters sits unclaimed.

Features doing the heavy lifting

Intervalos Predefinidos

Intervalos Predefinidos

Our helpdesk already has notifications — why this?

Built-in notifications are usually all-or-nothing: every update on every ticket, or slow email digests. RefreshPilot watches the one view you care about and alerts on the one condition you set. No admin access or paid add-on needed.

Can it post new-ticket alerts into Slack or Teams?

Yes — the webhook action sends a message to Slack, Teams, Discord or PagerDuty the moment a match happens. The whole channel sees the urgent ticket seconds after it lands.

Will constant refreshing strain our helpdesk?

One tab reloading a queue every 90 seconds is a tiny fraction of normal traffic — far less than five agents flipping back to check it all day.

We use a niche ticketing tool — will it work?

If the queue shows in a browser, yes. RefreshPilot watches the page, not the product — an old internal tool works as well as Zendesk.
