01 — What it does
Without notifications, a watcher is only half useful — you'd still have to keep checking whether it found something. Push notifications finish the job: the instant your condition matches (your words appeared, your zone changed, your price dropped), a real system notification pops up on top of whatever you're doing. It tells you what matched and where, so you know whether to run to the computer before you've even clicked.
The real magic is what DOESN'T ping. Notifications only fire when your watch condition matches — not on every reload. A well-set watch might ping once a day, and that one ping means GO. Pro tip: turn the sound on for the big fast stuff (drops, tickets, queue breakthroughs) and leave it off for slow watches. That way, when you hear the sound, you know it's go time.

My notifications aren't showing up — help?
Check two switches: Chrome needs permission to show notifications, and your computer needs to allow notifications from Chrome (on Mac, check Focus mode; on Windows, Focus Assist). The docs walk you through both in a minute.
Can it make a sound?
Yes — turn on sound per watch. Save it for the alerts where seconds count, so that when you hear it, your feet already know to move.
